This piece is following up on the “Protegidos” series of angry blanketed children. This new piece allows the children to rest and be protected by their culture. The sarape and dahlia flowers are some of the most comforting items I can think of within Mexican culture. The beauty of the these elements together with the sleeping baby allows for a serene moment. This piece measures approximately 12” wide 18” high and 4.5” deep.
